Forestwerx is a firefighter-owned and operated company based in Evergreen, Colorado. We specialize in forestry and trail-building projects, utilizing an ecologically sensitive approach informed by fire behavior expertise. Our services cover Jefferson, Gilpin, Park, and Clear Creek counties. We primarily handle projects ranging from 1.5 to 50 acres. Our unique fleet of specialized equipment enables us to efficiently perform both manual and mechanical treatments. This includes regionally distinctive machinery, such as our variable-chassis tracked chipper for exceptional access to challenging backcountry locations, and a specially equipped forestry excavator designed for technical terrain mastication, mechanical thinning, harvesting, and trail construction. Forestwerx is fully insured, with extensive references available from past projects, including everything from single-occupancy defensible spaces to over 40-acre technical mastication projects.
